Welcome to our webinar series, organized by the University of Turku. This series aims to educate and inform our partners by providing an in-depth look into various online training materials, as well as tips and tricks, to enhance knowledge Inspired by our two flagship projects implemented in Tanzania through cooperation between the University of Turku and Tanzanian universities, namely the Resilience Academy (https://resilienceacademy.ac.tz/) and GeoICT4e projects (https://www.geoict.org/). These webinars series continue our efforts. These projects have aimed at equipping experts from partner universities with the skills necessary to leverage geospatial technologies and ICT tools in tackling climate and sustainability challenges. Additionally, this webinar series seeks to inspire young experts to adopt innovative teaching methods and utilize our training materials to more effectively engage students. Our webinars also serve as a vital platform for networking and collaboration among academics, students, and enthusiasts from the Global South, fostering potential future projects.
