In this module, you will dive into using Geonode, after you have learned the installation in the last module. Lectures and step-by-step practicals will guide you to use Geonode as a Content Management System. That includes for example the creation of users, editing and assign roles in users, uploading, downloading of layers, maps, and documents, editing metadata and assigning groups and owners to the layers. After that, you will learn how to integrate Geonode with other open source applications like QGIS. The last package in this sub-module is data pre-processing of large raster files and upload back to Geonode. This sub-module is for both end-users and developers if you want to know how Geonode works, then is the best part to work with it.

Learning objectives:

On this sub-module, you need to acquire knowledge on editing basic account information in Geonode platform, work with various document types such as layers and maps. You should be able to integrate information from Geonode to other GIS applications and vice versa.
