About this course

This is the sub-module of module 2. It consists of lectures, quiz, practicals and resources. You will review different examples, as do the whole flow of data management and quality control. All practicals are supported by the theoretic background which helps you to understand the importance of open data sharing and the key concepts.

Learning Outcomes
You will learn principles of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs) and practical skills in using SDI and sharing your own data via CRD Geonode. After completing this module, you know how to use CRD for data access, visualisation and publishing. Remember that you can only share your data in CRD if the quality and metadata of your data sets are sufficient.
